I also get the feeling that MOM takes PERSONAL offense when I (and 57% of America) rips on Sarah Palin. You shouldn't let it bother you man, that's just weird. People are entitled to have their opinions - it's not like we're cracking on your sister or something, it's literally some random Hockey Mom from the middle of nowhere.
I was at Woodmania's bachelor party last night so I only got to hear about 1/2 hr of the debate. From what I have read and heard (from Big Media sources of course) is that Palin did hold her own. She didn't drool on herself or say some crazy shit like in the infamous Couric and Gibson interviews. She followed my tips and tricks and stopped the bleeding. The Palin hataz can probably take a break. The Palin fanboys can breathe some sigh of relief.
What really seems to stand out though is Biden's "masterful" performance. To V3n0m's point, I have also read from numerous reviews that he sounded the most presidential out of the lot of these knuckleheads.
Everyone expected Palin to say something stupid and Biden to stick his foot in his mouth. It doesn't sound like that happened so to a certain extent, the 75 million people watching were disappointed

Again, I think Andrew Sullivan did a great job live-blogging the debate. He gave Palin the first-half - not due to substance, but stylistically - Biden was boring and Washingtonian while Palin was allowed to recite talking points and folksy anecdotes - but said Biden came on strong in the 2nd half and won the overall debate.
I turned it off after 45 mins. Too boring.
