I'm really excited about this team and baseball starting up. (Of course what else do I have to be excited for?) I still don't like Votto batting third and Phillips batting clean-up. Phillips needs to focus on getting on base and using speed and not with being a power hitter. Votto doesn't need to be slowing down the basepaths in the 3 slot. It makes so much more sense to flip-flop them. Phillips seems as close to a prototypical #3 hitter that we have unless Bruce lives up to his hype. I just don't get it.
