it doesn't bother me so much because obama was elected largely due to how "historic" it would be to elect a black man president.

how many times did we hear how "historic" it would be, yet i know that by writing the statement above, some folks would say i'm flirting with racism because i called it like it is: barak obama was both elected, and given a pass for his many, many flaws because of his skin color.

that he uses his skin color to make jokes he knows a white man could never get away with is simply par for the same mentality that doesn't see the ironic hypocracy of BET, congressional black caucus, or "black entertainment." it is what it is.
