fri metallica's long awaited new album comes out...and for those who are tired of the recent loads of.... this album is back to what made the mighty met mighty...at least from what i've heard. unfortunately, a cincinnati date is not on the schedule, guess i'll have to where my red and black to columbus

last time i saw the men in black was with godsmack opening up down at the colliseum and i think the place is still shaking from that show. haven't heard who's touring with them this round.

this is the first time i've been pumped about a metallica project in a LONG time. i LOVE what i've heard, too. in high school i was in a metallica cover band, and james remains the personification of "cool" to me.

the past 30 days have been amazing for metal fans, with 3 new releases: metallica, the showdown, and dragonforce. wow.

I have consumed gallons of Pepsi so I can get it tomorrow first thing from the Amazon MP3 store. I'm excited. If Chinese Democracy comes out this year as well I may just die.

I've only heard The Day That Never Comes and I like it quite a lot.

I really like the show Time Warp on Discovery Channel. Tonight they are doing something a little different and featuring Metallica.
