Default UC Gets 7'2" Center

UC got a commitment from a 7'2" center Saturday night. Sounds great, but this guy won't be at 100%.

Riek, who will be 19 in November, withdrew from consideration for the NBA after it was discovered that he had an ACL injury. He underwent surgery from which he’s still recovering. Dave Telep, of Scout.com, said it could be six months before he will be able to play, but there’s a chance he could be ready in December.
Still, it won't hurt to have some extra depth come Big East season.

What's with the Acid-washed Capri-Style denim pants?

Could we get a guy that doesn't have to tip-toe to reach the rim. I mean come on, Mick!

This is good news for us Bearcat die-hards. I'm not sure they need him, but you never turn down a seven-footer, much less 7-2. I'm not sure how healthy Biggie McClain will be this year. His toe has been nagging too long. Of course this guy isn't healthy either. I wonder how long he plans on staying. We had a scholarship available but I'm not a fan of giving it to a guy that's not going to commit at least three years.
