If you think that game was a film for why to come play here....ha...you have got to be kidding me.

Kelly got out coached plain and simple...even with time to prepare...i say embarassment...some say....we did ok...i say embarassment

2 minutes of mental competency does not make a complete game...

As as for the plane tickets..look...I said hassle...going dayton and indy...is a hassle for me.

Kelly didn't throw FOUR interceptions... That would be Mr. Pike.

Kelly did make some horrible calls on that series late in the 4th Q where UC had 6 shots at the end zone with 1st and goal at like the VT 7. The worst call being the final 4th down call to run lanky Pike on the keeper. Ouch.

Kelly did throw 4 interceptions...because he allowed Pike to stay in the game...where a few other times this year he yanked the QB that was killing the team.

It was bad all around but I put this squarely on Kelly...I like the guy...I think he is good for the program...but people are letting him skate....

Not only did they lose, but they missed a chance to party w/ Diddy

Sports Crackle Pop » Cincinnati Bearcats coach says “no” to partying with Diddy

Quote:
Orange Bowl in Miami, the Cincinnati Bearcats booked the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach. The only problem, Diddy also booked this fine establishment for a New Years Eve bash. I’m not going to ask how the Bearcats can afford a $600/night hotel, but I will question their coach’s judgment.

Coach Brian Kelly thought ‘it would be one giant distraction’ having Diddy there, so he rewarded his players for their Big East win and moved the team to another hotel at the last moment — ruining all chances of partying with the Bad Boy crew.

I agree, Kelly got outcoached. And the players got outplayed. And during the game I was screaming at them (and the refs) but since the game I've chosen to look at the season as wildy successful and will always remember this year fondly.

This is a new level for the program and for Kelly, too. Hopefully he learned from this and will adapt for the future.
