As you should if you want change. Matta walked into a bigger mess at tOSU (imagine recruiting knowing you weren't even allowed to play in the NCAA tournament) but he managed to turn lemons into lemonade. Cronin has turned the lemons into gooey shit.

I think you're underestimating the whole fuckup that was the timing of the Bob Huggins firing.

Well, losing to UAB by 19 leads me to believe this team will lose by 30 or more.

Thank you jp. I've been going back-and-forth on this issue with him for two years. His mind is made up and there's nothing we can do to change it. This whole OSU was a worse situation is a new one, though. That will sure spark up another OSU-UC debate. I myself won't touch it. I am still believing in Cronin, but my patience is growing thinner. Obviously the freshman aren't ready yet and having two or three on the floor at all times really hurts. But I did expect this team as a whole to be playing smarter. It's one thing to be inexperienced and undertalented. We know we're in that boat. But at least look like you know how to play basketball.

I didn't get to see this game but I can imagine exactly how it went down. We shot too many threes (5-19) and we played no defense, giving up easy looks (UAB shot 50%). Yeah, that sums it up. Our offense is still as stagnant as it was under Huggins. I'm surprised being down the whole game we didn't chuck up more threes. I've seen us shoot 19 in a half this year already. If you rely on shooting long to win you are not going to win very often. If you can't force you're opponent into bad shots, or at least lower percentage shots, you will win even less. Memphis will destroy this team. Last year was one of the ugliest displays of basketball I've ever witnessed. They embarrassed us. I like to think with this game being here that the fans will come out and the team will get fired up enough to at least give it a fighting chance. I don't think we can even possibly win the game, but let's hang around as long as possible.
