The Enquirer has just posted this article or alert about the Cincinnati Bengals

In ESPN The Magazine’s seventh annualÂ*“Ultimate Standings,” the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are rated the best of all 122 major North American pro sports franchises when it comes to paying fans back for their investment of time, money and passion.
Winning is one component, so neither of Ohio’s NFL teams fares well in the rankings. . . .

ESPN The Magazine has come out with its fan rankings for this year and the Bengals are ranked 118th out of 122 North American professional franchises, or second worst in the NFL (Detroit is 119).

In some ways, I was surprised they were so low. In others, the team seems kinda high.

I'll have to disagree with this one here. Mike Brown and Marvin are certainly prickly to the media and fans but there are a large number of players that embed themselves in the community: Graham, Palmer, Thornton, etc.

They certainly shouldn't be top 50, but dead last is ridiculous.
