Akili Smith? Really?

I was in a sports memorabilia store in Eastgate Mall and happened to find this:

That's right, an Akili Smith pennant to hang on your wall. I considered buying it for shits and giggles except the thing was FULL PRICE. The store was packed with Drew Beldsoe stuff and Doug Flutie in his Charger days gear and lots of other stuff that was old ten years ago and it was all FULL PRICE.

Is there really a demand for outdated merchandise? I'd buy Akili stuff ironically but not gonna pay that much for it.
