It appears that the Bengals have come to terms with Bryant. I'm glad it's not T.O. and kind of glad we didn't give up our first rounder to get Marshall (who is a headache as well) or to draft a receiver who wouldn't be ready to really contibute this season. Seems to be a good fit -- hope it works out.

According to Joe Reedy, neither Bryant nor T.O. were the team's first option; it was former Bengal Kevin Walter. Still, the Enquirer beat writer says Antonio's a good catch.

I saw that he was a free agent and would've loved to have him back, but even if the Texans didn't try to resign him I doubt he would've come back here. Didn't he leave unhappy that the Bengals didn't offer him a contract or something? Another good point I heard against going after Marshall was his suspension issues. His next strike could be a half or full season. We don't need that again. Bryant isn't the sexiest receiver but hopefully he complements us well.
