Default Reds' bullpen falters in extra-inning loss
Just when it seemed the Pirates would cruise to victory Tuesday, July 1, Reds second basemen Brandon Phillips kept his team alive. Twice he tied the game with clutch hits in key situations. Manager Dusty Baker, in fact, thought Phillips was going to be the game's ultimate hero.
