CLEARWATER, Fla. — The lineup/batting order suspiciously resembled the one Cincinnati Reds manager Dusty Baker probably will be scribbling on his Opening Day lineup card.

I hate to say it but I am getting excited about this team. They're young! They're dynamic! They should get two more wins than last year. But at least they'll be intriguing through the All Star break.

I'm really excited about this team and baseball starting up. (Of course what else do I have to be excited for?) I still don't like Votto batting third and Phillips batting clean-up. Phillips needs to focus on getting on base and using speed and not with being a power hitter. Votto doesn't need to be slowing down the basepaths in the 3 slot. It makes so much more sense to flip-flop them. Phillips seems as close to a prototypical #3 hitter that we have unless Bruce lives up to his hype. I just don't get it.
