This guy almost won the AA triple crown at Chattanooga.He was surpassed in the last 2 weeks in 2005.Actually he projected to be an average major leaguer.His AAA year wasn't a barn burner.

But this guy has within his soul and disposition something that can only be given by God himself..981 OPS isn't handed out like candy.Especially on a $hitty lineup.

Votto is a special player and it excites me to think about his 2010 at bats.Call it cheesy.Call it homerisitic.But we are seeing a special ballplayer unfold here.Recognize the worth,because it only happens about once a decade....

I hope so. I really like Votto. I like guys with power that hit for average and power is second to them. I wish Phillips shared this mentality. When Griffey was young he always said if you put good swings on balls, you'll get HR's without trying. This is Votto's mentality. I wish we had a solid clean-up guy to bat behind him. Hopefully Bruce becomes that but I see too much Adam Dunn-ness (yes that's word) in his numbers.
