His face is definitely different... Something I noticed while watching his interview with Rome was that his eyes don't necessarily look like they track the same object at the same time anymore. (Phil Gregory style) Maybe it had something to do with the blood spot in the one eye.... I haven't heard that he's experiencing vision problems, but I don't know how the skeletal structural of your face can go through that kind of trauma without it impacting your vision.
