Thumbs down Sunday Night Football has dumb commercials

Have you seen them? Cris Collinsworth talking about his kid playing Madden. Madden talking about how Al Michaels is good at making sense of Madden's gibberish. Very lame, very poor marketing.

On the other hand, they've got some good studio guys in Costas and Collinsworth.

It has Madden and Michaels. Really, how much marketing does this show need?

I think NBC and ESPN/ABC/DISNEY all need to make the public aware of the new changes with the broadcast times and stations, there are a lot of them!

True, I guess I just don't see the need for the lame campaign they've got going right now. Who cares who played Madden, or who can understand Madden?

They need to play this as the return of the greatest broadcast team. Make it more NFL, less MY Space.

Tedesco, are you serious? I can't stand either of those guys. I think Michaels is like a robot (not quite Pat Summerall, but getting there) and Madden is just slightly retarded or something. ESPN's crew doesn't bother me, and I like most of the Fox guys, but that's it.

I'm very opinionated on broadcasters and probably pay more attention to them than I should.

I'm not saying I agree with them. I'm just saying how they should push it. Personally, I like Fox's team.

I just think its cheap that they are saying "football night in America.". Rip off of "hockey night"

Anyone catch Madden being somewhat of a dick to collinsworth when they were discussing phillip rivers?

I missed this first broadcast. From what I have heard though, seems like people enjoyed the broadcast over all.
