Beanie sore, but ready for Penn State
Chris "Beanie" Wells is sore all over. His foot still hurts from an injury that sidelined him three games, and aches and pains still linger from last week's season-high 31 carries.

Victory over Penn State might impress skeptical pollsters
On Sept. 28, results of the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll were released. Ohio State, which had improved to 4-1 with a 34-21 victory against Minnesota the day before, didn't move from its previous rank of No. 14.

Pryor wants to prove himself to Penn State
In the bright lights of a postgame interview last week, Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor was already thinking ahead to the showdown with a team from his home state, a team he jilted to become a Buckeye.

Night game results at Ohio Stadium since 1985
The Buckeyes, hoping they might make their way back to a third-straight national title game, take on No. 3 Penn State at 8 p.m. tonight at Ohio Stadium.

tOSU vs. tPSU
I'll be watching the game with a Buckeye fan tonight. I have a feeling it will be a rough night for him.

Penn State people seem awfully cocky right now (with good reason I guess). Hopefully the Bucks have a little good karma. I know most the country will be rooting against tOSU because a win would once again put them in the BCS picture, plus everyone wants to see JoePa win* it all before he retires.
* It should be noted that JoePa is a fraud. He doesn't really coach anyone anymore (he just yells and farts and jumps up and down) - his assistants should get more credit than they do.
What's with all the random Buckeye Articles randomly moved into this thread?

Were they random? I kinda thought they acted as preview material for tonight. If not, sorry about that.
Is that LeBron on the Gameday set? I'm surprised he's not wearing a Penn State cap.
Coach Corso wearing the Buckeye head. Foreboding or good omen?

Usually I would say that is bad bad sign, but he's been more accurate with his picks this year.
i can see this game going either way... Buckeye Blowout or Penn State Blowout. Will the Purdue Terrelle show up or the MSU Terelle? That is the question! I know he wants to beat his home state team badly, and I know PSU wants to kick his azz for turning his back on "Happy" Valley / State College / Whatever the fuck they decide to call the towne.

Good Battle... Props to PSU for shutting down Beanie Wells.
I thought Terrelle played well with the one exception of course, too bad that was ballgame.
Buckeyes... Capital One Bowl Bound!?
Penn State... BCS?!

Pryor was OK - he needs to learn to throw the long ball - all of his long balls were awful, even the ones that were caught - severely underthrown floaters. Beanie was the biggest factor against us tonight...if he's not eating up yards, we ain't winning. But then when he finally is picking up chunks of yardage in the 4th quarter.....Tressel has Pryor keep it on 3rd and 1 and he fumbles...that ball shoulda been a handoff to Beanie. No excuse for fumbling, though.
OSU could still be BCS Bowl bound - if they finish in the top 12, you know they'll probably get picked because of the way the fans travel.
PSU has no challenging games remaining. They should be playing for the title.

OSU licks its wounds with bye week
This is an off week for Ohio State. The Buckeyes can use the time off.
