Former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason will be featured on the sixth annual Maker's Mark commemorative Lane's End Stakes bottle.

The limited-edition bottle commemorates the 38th running of the $500,000 Grade II Lane's End Stakes at Turfway Park on March 21.

Maker's Mark will produce only 6,000 of the 375 ml bottles of the Kentucky straight bourbon whisky, which go on sale March 13 at Greater Cincinnati retailers. The cost is about $23, depending on the retailer.

Last year's label featured another local sports hero, Reds catcher Johnny Bench.

Your talking about a bottle of the worlds best bourbon with not only a great quarterback but a descent person on it with the profits going to a well deserving chaity and history shows these bottles to be highly collectable. If this is not a collectable bottle then what is?
