Today Matthew 25 Ministries released their first set of new Bobbleheads in their "BIG RED MACHINE" series. These are the mini bobbleheads available at Kroger for 19.99 per set. Today's release was Set #4 and features Hall Of Fame Broadcaster Marty Brennaman right beside outfielder Cesar Geronimo. The fine folks at Matthew 25 should have paired Marty and Joe together but I guess they feared not many people would be interested in a Geronimo/Gullet pairing. Nevertheless, Marty and Cesar are immortilzed together, forever...

On the back of the box there is a summary of each individual's career accomplishments, Marty's contains much more data.

Let's take out the ceramic men!

Overall, a weak set. The pairing makes no sense and Marty looks more like Mike Douglas than Marty Brennaman. Geronimo looks like an evil Samual L Jackson. I don't know why I continue to buy these things, but at least the money goes to a great cause.

LOL. I was disappointed too but bought it anyway so I would have the complete collection. You are right about the pairing. Dumb! A better choice would have been to pair Marty and Joe and save the Gullet/Geronimo release for the last so those of us who want the complete set would HAVE to buy it.

Krogers in West Chester have a ton of these left!

Blue Ash Krogers has plenty of Concepcion/Foster and Nuxhall/Gulllet sets left. We're talking boxes and boxes. I have to think M25M is not happy with the sales of the dolls this year. I blame the pairings!
