Default Contractor Sentenced for Illegals...

Noted contractor sentenced | Cincinnati Enquirer | Cincinnati.Com

First off...being in the business...I want to say...IT IS ABOUT TIME. This guy's sentencing was supposed to be in February but for whatever reason it has taken another 5 months to get it done.

I was glad to see there were a lot of folks that showed up on behalf of those in the industry that do things "the right way". Hearing of the letters demanding tough punishment was encouraging....hearing of the ones that "spoke to his character" were sickening. Seeing who wrote those letters of support is a bit ironic though....Corporex...associated with "high character"? HA! . Messer? So let me get this straight...we have two "high profile" companies writing letters of support about somone who admittedly bucked the system and violated federal law? WOW!

What is even more disgusting is that the City of Fort Wright...passed a resolution noting Mr Woltnizek's accomplishments? AFTER HE ADMITTED GUILT? WTF? I guess people are trying to save face....

Reading through some of the comments posted to the article...a lot of people don't get it. What this guy did was 100% completely illegal...he knew it....and admitted he knew it. The comments about the Feds screwing up Fischer were spot on...I don't deal with residential types...BUT Fischer hung out it's own employees for what the execs knew was going on...was there a witchunt for Woltnizek? Nah...look at what he admitted too....for the time he admitted it was going on...no witch hunt...just stupidity.

Heard from a pretty reliable source that this week the remaining contributors in the company get sentenced.
