Whack Jobs Fired....
Wow...
Looks like POS Chris Matthews and POS Olbermann are OUT at the Obama Network that is MSNBC.
Funny...I saw Olbermann at NBC football last night, not sure if they will let him stay there...but I did find it quite arrogant that he carried over his "Bushed" commentary to the football analysis when talking about the Day Reggie Bush had....the man is utterly disgusting.
As far as Matthews...he has been and always will be an idiot without substance.
As far as replacements I heard they were thinking of putting in some Air America nutjob....hopefully it is not the short haired brunette that Olbermann always flocked over...she is beyond out in left field.

I don't think they were fired, they are just not doing any more anchoring for political events.
I watched MSNBC for both events and I will say Olbermann was over the top, Matthews had equal praise and criticism of both parties.
The Air America "nutjob" is Rachel Maddow - she leans very left but no more left than your nutjob buddy O'Reilly and others lean right.

Blog Buzz: MSNBC Demotes Olbermann and Matthews, New McCain Ad Repeats Bridge Lie, McCain's Convention Bounce - US News and World Report

MSNBC's Efforts at Neutrality
The recent news that MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews will no longer serve as election-night anchor chairs has liberal bloggers pointing a finger at the network for bowing to complaints from the right that the anchors are too opinionated. Bloggers wonder why FOX News remains unconcerned by its "deliberate conservatism" and say that MSNBC's tie with NBC is partly behind the decision. One conservative blogger says Olbermann should have been removed anyway for being a "moron."

Quote:
Matthews, the host of “Hardball,” and Olbermann, the host of “Countdown,” will remain “front and center” during those events, Griffin said. He said reports by other news organizations had mischaracterized the decision as a demotion of the network’s two highest-rated stars.
“ ‘Hardball’ and ‘Countdown’ are at the center of the growth of MSNBC and the success we’re having,” Griffin said, who called the network’s ratings gains over the past year “a great success story.
