Busy Housh

I know they say the NFL has no off-season, but I figured the players at least took some time off during the "business season."  Not so for Bengals wide receiver TJ Houshmanzadeh. He just took part in the Conduct Advisory Committee where he an bunch of players advised the commissioner to what to do about all the off-the-field antics done by their fellow players. They took a hard stand and suggested a three strikes and you're out policy.  I'm sure that will make him popular in the locker room where 1/8th of the players have been arrested this past year.

On top of that, ProFootballTalk.com says he hired his new agent. Now he has to deny rumors he wants to leave town. Of course, that website is pretty much the NFL's version of Mr. X, except that Homer's crazy rumors actually had a ring of truth to it. The fact that the article claims Chris Henry is a threat to #84's playing time pretty much lets you know this is not a credible sourse.  TJ says he loves it here and that he's not asking for a trade.

Hopefully, Housh's able to get some pre-season conditioning in while being such a newsmaker.
